Cappy is a crash-tested harness designed for car journeys. It uses an existing rear seat belt - no other parts are required - which allows the dog to stand up or sit down, but limits front to back and side to side movement.

The dog steps into the harness - Cappy is much easier to use than a pull-over-the-head type of harness - which is then clipped together across the back. Padded mesh panels provide breathability and comfort, and the whole harness is designed to be easily wiped clean.

There are twin leash attachment rings; Cappy is suitable as a short-term walking harness, but most customers will think it a bit too robust for everyday walking use.

It's very important that your dog is suitably restrained when it's travelling in the car with you. It's the law and the law is written with the safety of both dogs and human passengers in mind.

Cappy is a bluesign product, which means that the textiles from which it's made, indeed the whole production process, meet strict safety and environmental standards for minimising the use of chemicals, and for energy consumption, water consumption, carbon emissions, and the health and safety of the workforce.

Four adjustment points, which only need adjusting the first time the harness is fitted, provide for an excellent all round fit
The chest area is wide, to distribute the load widely under braking, and also well padded for both comfort and safety
The seat belt is passed through the two rear handles - there's lots of space, so this is easy to do
The Cappy can also be used with a lead, so is convenient when you need to stop during the journey

It's important to use this harness on the rear seats only - having a dog on the front passenger seat might be distracting, even if properly restrained, and who knows how much the restrained dog might move from side to side in a heavy braking or crash situation.

Next Day Delivery Information

No courier company can ever ‘guarantee’ a Next Day’ delivery. All courier companies occasionally have the same transport problems as can happen to everyone else, including snow blocked roads, closed roads, traffic jams, mechanical breakdown, an inability to find the delivery address, or to gain access to it if, for example, it’s in a block of flats. We work with some of the best couriers in the business, and overall they provide an outstanding service.

Delivery Surcharges

Due to the size and weight of some items, delivery surcharges may apply. Should this be the case we will contact you by email or phone before the order is processed.

If for any reason delivery is not made or the item is not required, and the parcel is returned to us, all return carriage costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

Returns

If you decide to cancel your order - then you must contact us in writing within fourteen calendar days of receiving the order to request a Returns Form and Returns Number. We will require the goods to be received at our Sedbergh premises within 14 days of this cancellation instruction. The goods must also (1) be unused and (2) be in their original packaging so they are resellable as new. You should return the goods to us at your cost. If we have made a mistake, e.g. we have sent the wrong items and there is no time to correct the error, then of course we will collect the goods and refund you in full, including carriage charges.

Faulty Goods

If you purchase a product from us which is found to be faulty, please phone or e-mail and we will attend to the problem without delay. Problems with products that have been sold by us and are under guarantee should be referred to us in the first instance.
